Fluorescent & Discharge lamp capacitors are used to improve
the power factor of Fluorescent & Discharge Lamps. Normally
Fluorescent & Discharge Lamps have extremely poor power factors
(approx 0.5-0.6) and therefore use energy very inefficiently.
Lighting Capacitors improve the power factor to > 0.95. It
is required that Lighting Capacitors be highly reliable. Fluorescent
& Discharge Lamps will continue to function in case of failure
of the Capacitor and therefore detection of failed Capacitors
and their replacement is difficult. Therefore it is critical to
fix very reliable Capacitors in Fluorescent & Discharge Lamps.
We have extensive life-test facilities to test a large batch of
capacitors in extreme conditions of high temperature and 2 times
the rated voltage. We ensure high reliability not only through
